Reviews and Ratings <br />
My stay at Viengtara Resort was mostly positive, with its beautiful bungalows nestled in serene rice fields and stunning views of the mountains. The breakfast served on the terrace was a lovely touch, but I found the dining options at the resort somewhat lacking in quality given the prices. The helpfulness of the staff stood out during my visit, and the location made exploring Vang Vieng easy with scooter rentals. Overall, it’s a great choice for a relaxing escape, though the dining experience could definitely improve.
My stay at the villa was highlighted by breathtaking views of the mountains and rice paddies. While the room itself had a lovely view, it was quite basic and not very clean, which took away from the experience. The staff were polite, but they struggled with English and weren't very responsive when we had issues. The location felt a bit isolated but offered stunning scenery. Overall, it's worth visiting for the views, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement.
This hotel offers a breathtaking view from its bungalows, making it a must-visit if you're looking for tranquility and natural beauty. The breakfast option is a nice blend of Lao and Western dishes, but I had a hiccup with the tuk tuk ride arranged through the hotel, which ended up costing more than expected. Overall, it was an incredible and calm experience, despite the minor transportation issue.
The resort offers stunning views of the mountains and rice paddies, providing an enjoyable experience. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and functional, but the service left much to be desired. While the in-room breakfast was decent, the overall dining options could be improved. The facilities are limited, making it a bit overpriced for what is provided.
The resort offers stunning views of the mountains, especially from the mountain view rooms, which are absolutely worth the upgrade. However, the basic upkeep of the accommodations leaves much to be desired, with cleanliness and maintenance issues impacting the experience. The location, while beautiful and quiet, requires a bit of a walk to reach town. Dining at the resort is decent, but could use improvement in options and taste.
